Monique Argent, a native of San Francisco, received her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Redlands. While in California, she has performed with Donald Pippen's Pocket Opera, the Bay Area Summer Opera Theatre Institute, the University of Redlands Opera Program, and The Peninsula Civic Light Opera. Since relocating to Boston to earn her Master's degree in Vocal Performance at New England Conservatory, Ms. Nasser has performed with The Boston Academy of Music, Opera Aperta, Longwood Opera, and American Classics.

Her roles include Gabriel in The Creation, Louise in La Vie Parisienne, Sarah in The Ballad of Baby Doe, Susanna and Barbarina in the Marriage of Figaro, Peep-Bo in The Mikado, Monica in the World Premiere of The Measure of Love, and Una Ragazza in La Rondine.

Monique has been a soprano soloist with the Rochester Romantic Symphony in New York, Masterworks Chorale, St. Ignatius Choir at Boston College, and with the Erevan Choral Society and Orchestra.

She has been a participant in the summer Opera Program, Oberlin in Italy, and most recently returned from Salzburg, Austria where she performed in The Salzburg Program with The University of Miami. Upon her return Monique's debut CD "Moonfall" was released and can be purchased at www.moniquenasser.com. She looks forward to returning home to San Francisco to perform A Concert for the Senses at the Castro Theatre on January 9, 2004.
