From singing on the streets of Brooklyn, New York, to winning the Arthur Godfrey Special Armed Forces Talent Show, to appearing at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, the famed Coconut Grove and Mocambo night clubs in Hollywood, and starring in some of the most beloved musicals in history, it's been a long and successful show business ride for Stewart Rose. For over fifty years audiences around the world have marveled at the multifaceted performer. As an RCA recording artist, his song "I Complained" sold over 100,ooo copies, and inspired legendary columnist Louella Parsons to write:"Seldom have I heard a better voice than that of Stewart Rose."
