Charlotte's Robin Rogers new CD hits the mark with this collection Blues standards. Her gutsy vocals are dead on and her band has the grit of a "rode hard and put up wet" unit . Great musicianship sounds best when accomponied by great vocals. It's a pleasure to hear real Blues being done these days when too much of the genre has gone to overly produced ballads. "Crazy Cryin' Blues" is a fresh approach, reminiscent of what was once the way true Blues were performed.
