Andrew Mah was born in Ottawa, Canada into a family of guitarists. He was immersed in the classical guitar repertoire as a young child as his siblings played guitar and recordings to him throughout his waking hours. Known for his high standards and meticulous approach, Andrew's personal mandate is to maintain a world class level of guitar technique and interpretation, while keeping a firm connection to the music and repertoire that compelled him to become a professional musician. To facilitate this, he continues to maintain an intense schedule of study and practice.
Andrew has had a widely varied career, performing in every conceivable situation and performing environment.
His first CD 'Presenting Andrew Mah' is a finely crafted album of classical and South American music that is both virtuosically exciting and tenderly moving. Watch for this brilliant artist in the media promoting this exciting debut.
