Open to the North is a collection of beautiful and mostly introspective pieces featuring the small harp, the rare bowed psaltery, and recorder, with occasional light and tasteful percussion. This is pure music, just as you would hear it in actual life -- without heavy reverb, "nature sounds," or synthesizers. This CD is in a beautiful ecological package (no plastic!).
