Karl Hayes
A native of Binghamton, New York, Karl Hayes began music lessons on piano at age 6 and oboe at age 10. He holds a degree in the Bachelor of Fine Arts - Oboe Performance, from the Conservatory of Music - University of Missouri Kansas City. He has played with many Kansas City area ensembles, including the former Kansas City Philharmonic, Independence Messiah Orchestra, Independence Symphony, Liberty Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, Kansas City Civic Orchestra, Kansas City Wind Symphony and Lee's Summit Symphony Orchestra. Throughout his musical career, Karl has become a multi-instrumentalist, playing saxophone, flute, harmonica and keyboards. His musical activities have been varied and extensive, having performed, composed and arranged for classical, jazz, rock, country, improvisational and non-traditional ensembles and venues.
Keith Kinart
A native of Vancouver, Washington, Keith Kinart holds a Bachelor of Science - Psychology degree from Bloomsburg University, including studies in art and art history. Keith began playing guitar at the age of 12 and studied voice as an adult while living and performing in Philadelphia. His musical activities in Philadelphia and Kansas City include performing, composing and arranging jazz, rock, country and improvisational non-traditional music. Growing up across the United States and travels to Europe and Asia have exposed Keith to a wide diversity of culture s and the arts; evident in his musical expressiveness and every-man perspective.
