If you love the theater, you'll love this collection of Robert Parker's compositions for the theater. This recording is a musical kaleidoscope celebrating nine classic plays in a wide range of musical styles: from the tragic grandeur of Russian romanticism to the sparkling charm of a Baroque shepherd's dance; from the jollity and wit of 1930's jazz to fiery fanfares with driving minimalist rhythms; from the sordid squeals of a raucous bordello band to a haunting symphonic portait of an enchanted forest.

Robert W. Parker is a prizewinning, critically acclaimed composer and performer with over twenty-five years' experience in musical theater and thirty years' experience as a liturgical musician. Called "a delight" by the press from Connecticut to California, he has performed for Presidential inaugurations, appeared on stages throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Japan, and has been seen (and heard) on both national and international television.
