A valued and innovative accompanist to an ever growing list of America's most celebrated singer-songwriters, Winters performs regularly with Woodstock legend Richie Havens. Over the past year, her work with Havens has taken her across the U.S and to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. When at home in NYC, she can be heard playing original music in the clubs of the lower east side and Bach solo cello in the NYC subways. As a classical cellist, Winters performed this past fall in the world premiere of Mabou Mines chamber opera "Red Beads" and at the "Works and Process" concert series at the Guggenheim Museum. In addition to performing on dozens of recordings for songwriters and bands, her solo debut of multi-tracked cello works, "Through The Storm", captured the imagination of five-time Emmy award winning documentary filmmaker Paul Devlin (Powertrip, SlamNation) who is completing a short film about Winters and her 2005 CD release concert.
