Jeff Wehmueller is a home based recording artist who finds interesting ways to present music in the arrangement and instrumentation avenues. He is a multi-instrumentalist, though his main instrument is the guitar. He writes some music as well, and is working on another CD which will contain more of his original songs. "I love the blues as well as more traditional forms of music", which shows in his arrangements. A finger style guitarist on acoustic, Jeff finds inspiration in alternative tunings and guitar voicing. Brought up in a home that was more classically oriented than anything else, Jeff has included many traditional Christmas tunes done in his one of a kind style. "What Child is This", breaks with traditional performances and morphs into a bluegrass tune complete with Banjo and Mandolin. "Drummer Boy", based on "The Little Drummer Boy", is totally performed on the synthesizer, and gives a new slant on this popular Christmas song. The opening track, "Angels Flight" is an example of Jeff's thoughtful and unique writing ability combined with his arranging skills, which result in a song with a definite Manheim Steamroller mood.
