*As you are listening to the music, I would like to share some of the stories and thoughts behind the songs.
--SIDE BY SIDE--is the only song that I have a recited poem to that speaks for itself.
--SIDE BY SIDE--
As you go on through life,
There is one thing that truly keeps us going.
FRIENDS,
Friends are the ones that are always there.
They're there to pick you up when you're down.
To draw from your radiance, if it's the other way around.
I have this saying.
I am a friend to a friend to me,
And by their side is where I'll be.
I know it's hard to find someone to trust,
with life's lies, anger and lust.
Please do not judge each of us the same.
Someone's honesty may not be a game.
A true friend will have little to hide,
And in the end you'll be "Side by Side".
--THE DAYLIGHT BEFORE DAWN--is staged just before the sun meets the horizon. The glow that lingers in the air prepares all creation for a new day.
--LIFE IS:--This song reminds me of an eagle's first flight. You spread your wings and start to lift yourself off the ground; but do not leave the nest. You try again; so much closer. And again you try and succeed. Filled with so much pride and joy; you are flying just the way you were created to. You crash. Though the flight was short lived; you will learn from your mistakes and fly again.
--YOUR SONG--is a song that everybody seems to have a different story to. It will create a pleasant collage of thoughts from your life.
--MY STORMS PATH:--This is a song that we can all relate to. As our days become more and more stressful, the things that bother us the most seem to overwhelm our thoughts. The storm builds. The storm I speak of is all internal, not an outward explosion. We are very hard on ourselves emotionally, especially when we do not know how to remove the tension from our lives in a respectful manor. But we are still here; each storm has passed and will pass when the time comes.
--AS SOON AS YOU LEAVE:--There is a certain someone you know; that when they enter the room, it gets a little bit brighter. The same person that somehow blesses your presence; takes a piece of you with them when they leave. This song is about the little bit of emptiness they leave behind.
