Morgan Crowley has been singing since he was a boy in Ireland and grew up with an intense musical training in the care of his family and distinguished tutors, playing various instruments and studying theory of music, composition, arranging, etc. His influences are diverse and this shows very much in the eclectic mix of music available on SNAPSHOTS. Morgan has worked in very esteemed company in his career to date, including Celine Dion, Sting, Harry Connick Jr., Abba, Placido Domingo, the BBC Big Band and London Philharmonic Orchestra. His admirers in the past have included outstanding public figures such as Princess Diana, like Madonna, Whitney Houston, Mel Brooks, Joan Sutherland, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Bill Whelan (Riverdance composer) and Pope John Paul II. His solo recordings to date have included an International Bestseller in the US (OUT OF THE BLUE) and a Christmas special CELTIC CAROL, tracks from both of which are included on SNAPSHOTS and he has participated in a Grammy winning CD and Oscar-winning movie soundtrack. Morgan's latest work is of a very different nature as it features his counter-tenor voice, which has received critical acclaim on the West End stage, international concert platform (including Carnegie Hall, NY) and opera houses around the world, and will hopefully soon be available on CDBABY.COM
Most of his solo endeavours are entirely self-funded to allow independence and a certain artistic integrity often lacking in studio-funded projects, so your support is greatly appreciated!
