Well, over six years we had to wait.....But the moment is here! Ophelia's Dream is back with Not A Second Time and it was definitely worth the wait!

Mastermind Dietmar Greulich, stylefully accompanied by singer Susanne Stierle, created a gentle album, intensive, full of longing and passion. A real romantic, as well as an extraordinary talented and splendid arrangeur. In his songs Germany is still another sea power, governed by kings with sailing boats and with lovers on the roses decorated balconies, drinking tea, wearing costumes and living in a world of beauty and art. Is it this wondrous impression, which shows Greulichs genius in each of his great songs? The composer has reached his creative climex, combining easiness with complexity. Works like "Exsolutio" or "Lady Magdalen" sounds familiar first, then it dramatically changes, but nevertheless the result is a closed, filigree song circle, which indeed does not miss any depth.

Without question, highlight and keysong is the truly uncanny, otherworldly piece of shiver "De Torrente", in which Greulich masterly connects rough and powerful choirs with heart-tearing, essential melodies. Now we feel raptured on a level of reverie, like the Comtesse looking at her art collection.

Ophelia's Dream shows an outstanding performance with an terrific sound. Not A Second Time is a melancholic sound journey around the world, lovely, but not too charming, because it's always changing and surprising....
