"The glory of the Lord shall endure forever,
The Lord shall rejoice in His works . . .
I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live,
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."
Psalm 104:31, 33

"For His Glory" is THE must-have CD for everyone who enjoys inspirational hymns. Dawn's first recording has already been a huge success and within the first week was selling out at local stores. It has been described as:

"awe-inspiring . . . truly beautiful"

"a taste of heaven"

"a voice from heaven that you can't stop listening to"

"a voice like Charlotte Church and Sarah Brightman, but with a heart-felt warmth and a mystical quality that is all her own - simply beautiful and unforgettable"

Dawn Marie Chmiel sings the classics of composers such as Schubert and Mozart the way they were meant to be sung - with a voice that is warm and beautiful - and with true emotion that comes from her very heart and soul. Her selection of songs in "For His Glory" is a perfect blend of sacred classics, traditional hymns and works from contemporary Christian composers and all will touch the listener in a very personal way - as if each song is being sung for that person alone! This is music that transcends all generations and places. It will leave you peaceful and inspired, and listening over and over again. Dawn sings not only the solo soprano voice on her recording, but all harmonies as well, and accompanies on the piano.

Dawn first began her musical career at the age of five with piano lessons and continued on to become an organist at the age of eleven. Her first love, however, is singing! Singing in church choirs since the age of fourteen, Dawn soon realized that this was her way to express her love for God and her thanks for His gifts! She has previously sung with the Rochester Oratorio Society, the Diocesan Festival Choir and was the soloist for the Rochester Marian Conference. She is the Music Program Coordinator, soloist and organist for the St. Ann's Community Chapel in Rochester, New York as well as working with over 6 other parishes in the diocese as soloist for weddings and funerals.

Dawn credits her voice not to her own talent - but always states: "This music is a gift from God and I hope to always use it to inspire anyone who listens to believe in the Father. He gives each of us such precious gifts - our families, our friends, and our talents. It is up to us to never take them for granted, and to do everything
For His Glory."
