A flute choir with pizzazz and class located in Allentown, Pennsylvania include a 12-piece traditional flute ensemble plus bass and percussion.
The repertoire encompasses virtually all genres with specific emphasis on light and smooth jazz as well as traditional & contemporary classical music.
"JAZZUTES" highlights this light jazz sound and includes jazzy versions of old-time favorites as "Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz to Hoagy Carmichael's "Up a Lazy River" and even the more traditional "Londonderry Air" with flair...songs from the 1960s and even movie selections from "The Pink Panther" series.
And no jazz cd is complete without a rendition of Dave Brubeck's infamous "Take Five."
