Artist Guide » Classical » Traditional » HARPER TASCHE: Powers That Be
Powers That Be features lyrical music from Scotland, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Ireland, and America, along with classical selections by Franz Schubert and J. S. Bach, performed on the rare cross-strung harp (with cameo appearances by the bowed psaltery and recorder). Beautiful new pieces by Bob Zawalich and Harper Tasche are also included. This is pure acoustic music - mixed without heavy equalization or reverb, "nature sounds," or synthesizers.

Letters and comments from fans:
"Every time you make a CD, I think it's my favorite - and then you make another one that's even better."
"Everything those reviews say about you is actually true!"
"Why does every one of your albums have at least one song that makes me cry?"
