The Velvet Touch Album is an accumulation of many years of classical training and performing experience. The collection of songs on the album depict a variety of the most requested songs ranging from Broadway, Classical to Ragtime.
Maria Russell, a professional pianist since the age of eleven, received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Nevada Las Vegas as well as a Masters of Computer Science and Webmasters Certification. A Pianist in Las Vegas for over 16 years, Maria currently performs at the Ritz Carlton Lake Las Vegas and for the Nevada Opera Theatre. She is also a freelance graphic artist designing logos, CD covers, booklets and websites. Other achievements include being the Music Director for the City of Las Vegas melodramas in the Park.
