I started writing lyrics and poetry at the age of fourteen. For me music has always been about experiences, both good and bad, that are an important part of my life. I have always been around the piano, either studying or playing, and music was always an important component in the lives of my immediate family.
I began to improvise at the piano to my own lyrics when I was sixteen. My piano music, either solo or combined with my story-telling lyrics, is an intimate look into my life from the inside out. Music is the "constant" in my life.
I grew up in the Bay Area and now live in Manhattan.
Those who listen to may music say it evokes deep emotions. Give it a try - perhaps you will be touched in a deep emotional place yourself.
It is said that my music is reminiscent of Norah Jones.
