Kolesnikova hails from Barnaul , Siberia , Russia and relocated to the U.S. in 1993 with her family. In 1999 she won the Florida State Young Artist Piano Competition which earned her a scholarship to attend Florida State University from where she graduated with honors in 2001. One of the most versatile and charismatic pianists since the times of Liberace, Kolesnikova is the first and only Russian-American female piano virtuoso to travel overseas to entertain the U.S. Troops. She completed two world tours on behalf of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department of the U.S. Navy (Europe, 2003; Asia, 2004) and a pending 2006 tour with the U.S. Armed Forces Entertainment is taking her to Egypt , Turkey and Italy .

A crossover between artist and entrepreneur, Kolesnikova reaches millions of fans worldwide by means of the Internet, the Home Shopping Network and with select collaborations with other talented artists and institutions with whom she shares common denominators and goals.

Kolesnikova is scheduled to appear on Public Television nationwide throughout 2006 during the educational program "The Piano Guy" filmed and produced by Columbus based Mills James Productions.
