The BlueBelles present nine jazz arrangements for five flutes with bass and percussion in a series of brilliant and clever arrangements by Trevor Wye who said, "It is a pleasure to write for a group who have no technical difficulties whatsoever". The pieces reflect this with virtuoso solos for all the players from piccolo to alto flute in which even J.S. Bach looks in occasionally!
They have studied both in Japan and in Europe and are now pursuing successful careers in symphony orchestras or as international soloists. The BlueBelles repertoire also contains classical arrangements and they have already appeared in several major concerts in Japan. They have been invited to perform both as soloists and as a group at the British Flute Society Convention in 2004 in the UK.
