The Lyricists are a talented Hip-Hop group that hails out of Port Huron Michigan. The group came together in 95' and consists of two emcee's (Illtone, Rym-Benda) and a DJ (D)avey. The Lyricists are able to craft a unique sound that combines "rhymes to beats, beats to rhymes" chemistry with the help from producers that reside in Canada, Pro-Logic and Know-it-All. The charismatic team drops conscience rhymes and display witty wordplay over comfortable melodies creating a mix that keeps listening fresh and entertaining. The bond shared between the three during shows, bring out an extra energy that enhances the groups stage presence allowing the music and lyrics to speak for themselves. In the year 2000 The Lyricists released their debut album titled "Outta Nowhere" reference to their location in Michigan. After working behind the scenes to get their name known, The Lyricists, since then made a new LP that dropped 2003 titled "Anti-Industry". And now currently ready to release there third effort titled "L3" in April of 05'. Fans of Hip-Hop can see the group around popular spots throughout Michigan and Canada.
