These recordings are interpretations of the 15 2-part inventions which J.S. Bach originally wrote for teaching purposes. Bach intended for these works (completed in 1723) to help his students develop skills in dexterity and technical competence. Nearly 3 centuries later, we three sat down and formed a trio with the intention of reviving and putting a new voice to these wonderful pieces. Altough we hold Bach's work in the highest regard, we chose to infuse our own modern style and flavor into these inventions.
