Clayton Toman (who's also known as C. T. Newmann in the music business) incorporates real-life adventures, tensions, quandries, tempos, anxieties, and celebrations in his music.

Clayton described the CD this way, "It's an eclectic mix of music.

The title song, "Tryin To Make A Buck", carries an upbeat tempo; "The Mighty Red River," a piece that was written based on a 1997 Midwest flooding, is "full of hope;" "Up North" describes the freedom of escaping the tensions of everyday life in the city with a weekend retreat to the cabin.

Clayton is also a music educator and string specialist who teaches students to play stringed instruments.

Music is his passion and he loves to share the knowledge with students.

"Tryin'To Make A Buck" is one original piece of recorded entertainment.
