Daithi Rua (Irish for: RED DAVID) has been writing songs for about ten years now and has been making a living from performing even longer. Born into a musical family he grew up on the banks of the Shannon river in the Middle of the lowlands of Ireland.
Daithi was given a head start in the music business by his musical parents and he went on to forge out a very prominent and sucessfull solo career playing the bar scene all over Ireland and eventually on the European continent including Scandinavia and the middle east. Daithi has also done numerous Radio and TV appearances at home and abroad and made his debut on RTE's "live at 3" daytime programme. Daithi now lives on Mainland Europe where he writes songs and performs from Belgium to Holland, Germany to Finland and Norway doing Festivals, clubs and whatever's thrown at him :-) Daithi has been involved in many bands including Sans Souci,The Helen Flaherty band and Belgian based super group COMAS.
