An intensely private person, dennis has been crafting songs of irony and wit in the privacy of his home for over thirty years, never going into a studio until October of 2000, when the first CD, SOMEDAY - SONGS OF DOUBT AND FAITH, was recorded. This was followed in July of 2002 by THIS LITTLE LIGHT. His songs document the paradox and mystery and boldness of the human heart in its many moods.
"Singing songs and making music for people is my way of giving thanks to my Creator for having made me, giving me music as a gift, and having allowed me to travel through this amazing world as i have this far," is the only analysis or comment that dennis offers for his efforts. Plans for the future include at least two more CDs, one with a country flavor and one in the quirky folk/jazz style that is his favorite mode of musical expression.
