Singing and song writing are integral parts of my life. I learned to love western music at a young age from two uncles who taught me to play the guitar. The old western artists and their songs were the staples of my musical education.
I have a great love and respect for the old west and the cowboys who worked the ranches and drove the cattle. These are the intertwining themes of the music I write. TESTIMONIAL: O. J. Sykes - CD & Tape Reviews for Rope Burns Magazine wrote: "George has a mature, somewhat rustic voice that lends itself to cowboy music. Looking for fresh, new material? Try this CD."
