The photographer Richard Avedon was the first to discover Jenna's unique look. She began her modeling career on the runway for some of the world's top fashion designers and has appeared in numerous international publications. Robert Mapplethorpe and Andy Warhol among the photographers and artists who noticed Jenna and included her in their work.
After fronting bands in high school and touring nationally as a backing vocalist, Jenna was signed to Polygram as a member of a girl group. Music became her primary focus. She began writing songs and has done so passionately ever since.
Jenna has written independently and in collaboration with such well-established writers as Kit Hain, Larry Dvoskin, Robert DelBuono and several Warner Chappel artists.
As a solo artist, Jenna has performed in many of New York's legendary clubs, such as CBGB's, CB's Gallery, Arlene Grocery, the C-Note, Acme Underground and Wetlands. Her long list of benefit performances includes Greenpeace, Hale House, God's Love We Deliver, V.O.W. and Earth Day. Recently, Jenna wrote song inspired by 9/11-"One Ray of Hope"-which was filmed by HBO.
Jenna is also a featured writer for Laughing Pizza Productions. Their first release on CD, DVD and video, Feelin' Good! , won three Praents Choice Awards in 2002 and 2003 and thier new CD & DVD Share a Smile, which includes six tracks that Jenna wrote on, has just won a 2005 Parents Choice Award.
