"A Song For Grandma And Grandpa," the new CD by Johnny Prill, contains the official song of National Grandparents Day. The title track features 8-year-old Katie Naffie along with The Perfect Blend Children's Choir. As an added bonus, this CD includes 2 karaoke versions of "A Song For Grandma And Grandpa." (with lyrics) The karaoke tracks are currently being used by churches and schools for their children's music programs. The CD also contains eight original songs by Johnny that have become popular over the years.
Singer/Songwriter Johnny Prill, from Bad Axe, has been writing music for over thirty years and is well known for his originality. One of Johnny's songs, "A Song For Grandma And Grandpa" has been named the official song of National Grandparents Day. Johnny has been fortunate to have many of his songs recorded by various artists. "Mr. Blue Velvet" Bobby Vinton has recorded five of Johnny's songs and has included them in many of his live performances. Johnny also wrote and recorded a song titled "My Sweet Rose," which was promoted to International Pop and Country Radio. "My Sweet Rose" charted on many Top 40 International Play Lists and quickly became a favorite.
