Take These Hands

"Featured here are my unique personal interpretations (all-instrumental, of course!) of sixteen of my favorite songs from the world of Christian music. Most of these are familiar melodies that I have grown to love over the years. All the tunes were recorded in multitrack fashion... that is, I played anywhere from two to six guitars (all acoustic) on each of them.

"Variety is key here, in every respect: I have drawn these selections from a wide spectrum of genres and periods (ranging from traditional hymns to southern and black gospel to contemporary worship songs, etc...); and similarly, my renderings cover the gamut of style (utilizing motifs ranging from rock to country to classical to blues, and more).

"I have sought to render this wonderful music with a clear expression of the many shades of feeling that it inspires in me (chief among which are heartfelt reverence, joy, and love for the Lord). My hope is that this CD will serve to inspire the same in you!"
