Rick is a singer/songwriter whose lyrics tell stories. Listening to his music, you may find yourself in love, heart broken or just kicking up your heels. He is an original and very energetic performer.

Rick was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His family moved into the countryside when he was a little boy. Rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, small towns, cornfields and dairy pastures became his place to start. It was a time when fresh milk was delivered daily, in real glass bottles. The only worry was not having enough kids to play a game of ball.
Spending many hours at his mother's piano he developed his talent and love for music at an early age. He began playing the alto saxophone in elementary school until he "borrowed" his father's guitar. He soon became hooked and began a songwriter's journey that continues to this day.

Rick now lives and performs in and around California's Central Coast and the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. Playing Blugrass, Folk, and Old-time Country Tunes. He is currently working on his second new CD release of more Bluegrass originals, live cuts from festivals like the Brookdale Bluegrass Festivals and Roaring Camping Music Festival, and some great well know covers from the Stanley Brothers, Del Mcoury, and Tim O'brien.
