Marching under the unfurling burlap banner of the West Coast folk and renaissance music movement, The Merry Wives of Windsor have stunned and delighted listeners with their premiere CD, Our Revels Now Begin. Founded in 2002, MWOW has amassed an impressive body of traditional and original folk music.
From their rollicking, hard-hitting, bawdy numbers to their soulful and melancholy ballads, these ladies have captivated audiences wherever they perform. These seven vocalists sing in three- and four-part harmonies, accompanied by guitar, Irish bouzouki, mandolin and bodhran. They have developed a remarkably modern sound, yet still remain true to their inspirational roots in folk music. Check out the artist's website: http://www.mwow.net Track List: 1.
