A native of Florida, Tom Gross now lives in the coastal town of Tanabe, Japan. The first attempt at recording "Exercising the Demons" began in the fall of 2002, but it wasn't until mid-2003 that the momentum started to build and real progress was made. Thanks to the portability of the recording equipment used, Tom was able to work in different places to lay down the separate tracks of each song. Several songs contain tracks that were, believe it or not, recorded in a makeshift studio in the back of Tom's minivan. Speaking of which...

From Tom: Imagine my surprise when I heard "All for You" (the second track) on the radio as I was driving the other day. Granted I have a friend at the station, but airplay is airplay!
