"Pour us some whiskey, hide all the guns"... Sings Vivian Linden in the song Drunken Lover, a cautionary tale of decaying love and co-dependence. Through these entanglements, woven in the realm where the heart and head collide, she finds her muse, sometimes suffering calamity and heartbreak in order to encounter those brief moments of grace that emerge from the wreckage of falling in and out of love.

Vivian grew up in various one-room cabins in the back hills of coastal northern California, the daughter of a ballet teacher and an eccentric Dutch artist. In 2000, she moved to Seattle.

Vivian's first full-length album "Watch the Light Fade" will be released by Tarnished Records in the Summer of 2006. It was produced by Beck Henderer-Pena and it includes an amazing cast of contributing musicians, including Eric Eagle and Bill Herzog of Jesse Sykes and the Sweethereafter, Charlie Smith, Jazz organist extraordinaire Wayne Horvitz, Jon Hyde of the Transmissionary Six and many more. Anticipated release date is July 2006.
