Ipswich (UK) based country duo Burnt Water comprises Tony Albins (guitar and vocals) and Bernie Underwood (keyboard and vocals) and both have been on the local country music scene for many years in different line-ups.

In September 1999 they met by chance at a mutual friend's wedding and from there joined forces to form BURNT WATER.

Their playlist mainly covers their first love for traditional country which comes through in their live performance.

Their special vocal and instrumental sound has quickly raised a loyal fan base and they have become very popular in the short time they have been together, appearing at many country clubs, festivals and theatres in the UK.

They receive regular good press reviews appearing on the UK Country Circuit and guest at festivals, concerts and clubs. In recent times they have been in concert supporting Ireland's Ann Breen and UK favourite Raymond Froggatt.

Other notable appearances booked for 2002 include the East Anglian, Hingham, Strumphaw and Country festivals and various UK mini-tours.

In March 2002 they received their first Artist of the Year Club award 2001 from the Double B CMC in Boughton Kent, England.

The successful launch of their first CD album BEYOND THE SUN has projected Burnt Water into becoming more widely known and tracks from the album are often requested for airplay on many radio country music programmes in the UK and Ireland. The global power of the internet has also seen new fans from all over the world introduced to the easy listening style of Burnt Water.

The songs recorded on this, their second CD Album,TROUBLES BACK IN TOWN,is released by the popular request of their many country friends they meet on their travels and the songs chosen include those much requested on their live performances. The remaining tracks have been selected by Bernie and Tony for their good country feel and story lines and to which they have stamped their own interpretation and recognized easy listening country style.

The Album is proving to be extremely popular and is featured as HOT ALBUM OF THE MONTH in the World Independent Country DJ Playlists for mid Oct 2002 and has already become a favourite Album amongst both country music listeners, DJs and dancers.Lucky Old Colorado,from the album,has received world airplay achieving #12 position in the European Independent Playlist Charts and #47 in the Worldwide Independent Playlist charts.

HOT NEWS!!In November 2002 Bernie and Tony agreed to work with notable Canadian Record Label Dark Horse
t.r.a.d.i.t.i.o.n.s and with producer Randall Cousins are presently recording Album No.3 which should be ready for release in Spring 2003.
