These are the original recordings of my dad Buzz Martin the Singing Logger. Buzz Martin was genuine logger who left the woods in the mid sixties to record and peform the songs he'd wrote about the life of the logger. His Music Became very Popular on the country stations and he was on the Johnny Cash Show. Also in 1976 The Smithsonian Institute Took him back to Washington D.C. For the Bicential Folkmusic Celebration to represent the Northwest. Dad drowned in Alaska in 1983 and his music has not been available for a long time . I'm Buzz Martin's oldest son and i've just aquired the publishing rights to his music and am starting to make it available again.
