Recorded in one afternoon in White House, Tennessee - Clay's second album offers eight of his own songs and two of his favorite covers. Like his first album, THE COMANCHE SESSION, all you are going to hear is Clay's voice, guitar and harmonica - not a lot of technological wizardry. Just honest music recorded the "old fashioned way".

Enjoy the range of material included on this album...from Cowboy ballads, to traditional country to killer slide blues guitar.

OVER & OVER - Jim Reeves could have sung this one...Very traditional country
TWANGY GUITAR - Clay wrote this one at a Kroger Store during a "Nashville snowstorm" (ie -1/8" blowing and drifting snow flakes!)
(Ain't Enough) WHISKEY - a la George Jones
GUITAR MAN - Clay wrote this one just after visiting Hank Williams' Sr's grave in Montgomery, AL
THE BUFFALO GRASS - Chris LeDoux cut this song on his new album due out July 2003!!!
DALLAS - Clay's smoking version of this Johnny Winters blues tune
(I Overheat In A) HEARTBEAT - A sexy song about lust...
GOOD OLD BOYS - Don Williams recorded this Bob McDill song about growing up in the South
WHISKEY'S FINE - Good shuffle

NOTE: Be sure to buy Chris LeDoux's new album...HORSEPOWER
available Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at WALLMART or TOWER RECORDS. It includes THE BUFFALO GRASS!
