The song "Red River" is about camping and backpacking in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. But in reality it's a song about solitude and reflection.
Dan Walz has been writing songs since he was 15 years old. He grew up listening to the Beatles and Bob Dylan but enjoys all kinds of music. Dan is a talented vocalist and musician - playing guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, and harmonica. His only CD so far (The Greatest Things in Life) is a diverse compilation of songs written over many years. This CD is his baby and Dan put his heart and soul into recording it.
Dan paints houses for a living and is a hard working family man. He has a wife and three children
