Country Music has always been about real life, with all of its joys and pain, trials and triumphs. And the best Country singers are those who've been able to take a song and, through their personal life experiences, make that song their own. It's called credibility. The artist must be able to let his audience know that, like them, he too has "been there". Of course, for a singer, like experience and credibility don't count for much without talent. In the case of David Langley, all those bases are covered. David has lived, loved and lost and overcome adversity. David has also blessed with an incredible voice and the emotional range to bring a songwriter's best work to life and truly connect with his audience. But David's talents aren't limited to being a wonderful Country singer. It would be an understatement to call his guitar playing ability anything less than captivating. He is also self-taught on piano/keyboards, bass, and many other instruments. David is also a gifted songwriter and producer. He started playing guitar at the age of nine. It was then that he knew he wanted to be a part of music.
David has opened shows for such acts as George Strait, Rhett Akins, Keith Urban, Jessica Andrews, John Conlee, Randy Travis, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Charlie Daniels Band, Neal McCoy, Merle Haggard, Ty Herndon, Tanya Tucker, and Dwight Yoakam just to name a few! He has also appeared on the Nashville Network. He performs regularly at The Buck Owens Crystal Palace, and has had the great honor of recording a duet with Buck Owens, which is available on David's second CD. With this duet, David joins the ranks of such stars as, George Jones, Ringo Starr, Dwight Yoakam, The Bellamy Brothers, and Brad Paisley, as being one of just a select few to have this opportunity with Buck, and this duet was Buck's suggestion.
