Debbie is now a three times nominated "Female Vocalist of the Year". The European Country Music Association 2006, British Columbia Country Music Association and the Entertainer Indi-Association, Nashville.
Debbie started out as many artist's do and that is singing in church and at home with the family. Music became Debbie's best friend as she couldn't get enough of it. Taking every advantage to sing, she was in choirs and performed in talent shows. In 1997, Debbie flew down to Nashville to record her debut CD "Makin' A Connection" with the Gatlin Brothers Studio. Well the CD did just that, released worldwide. Her first nominations were from the Entertainer Indi-Association in Nashville. From there, nominations came in yearly with the BC Country Music Association, Canada. From new artist on the horizon, international acheivement, country gospel performer of the year, entertainer of the year, and female vocalist of the year. Debbie has won the country gospel performer of the year for 2000 and 2001. She completed her second CD which is called "The Gift" a beloved collection of Christmas songs Debbie wrote for this long anticipated project and now she has completed the new CD "She Drives". This new CD is getting attention internationally. The first single is now in Europe. Talk about a mixed bag of songs from this singer/songwriter. The Toronto Atlantic Seabreeze magazine gave "She Drives" - 5 out of 5 stars! Country Music In Britain review- "This is the best CD I have heard for a long time". "She Drives" has been nominated for ALBUM of the Year from the BCCMA 2004. Debbie has also been nominated for INTERNATIONAL ACHIVEMENT of the Year 2004.
