This collection features the vocal talents of Jack Dillen and Robert Reeves who have been singing Traditional Country and Bluegrass from their home base in the mountains of Western North Carolina for many years. They have been influenced by such artist as Jim & Jessie, The Stanley Brothers, Merle Haggard and many more traditional country and bluegrass artist. Jack play's acoustic guitar and acoustic stand up bass while Robert plays acoustic guitar for the duo. It's been said that if the Everly Brothers ever sang classic traditional country this is how it would sound.
It also features the musical talents of David Johnson who played Mandolin, Acoustic Resonator Guitar, Fiddle, and Viola. David is a professional studio musician in the Southeastern US and has many awards to his credit. His smooth non-intrusive style seems to always add the right sound where it's needed.
This project has been professionally produced and recorded by Eddie Swann, a thirty year veteran of acoustic music having worked on acoustic projects with such artist as Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill, Tony Rice, Larry Sparks, David Wilcox, Marc Pruett, The Isaacs, and many more.
It was recorded using state of the art computer technology with SONAR 2.0, mastered using Sound Forge 5.0 and Timeworks. Needless to say the sound quality is awesome.
