The public began to enjoy Hank's brand of Country music during the 40's. During the 50's he performed on live radio, which covered Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio. He spent "time on the road" doing shows with or opening shows for such well known artists as Johnny Cash, Audry Williams, Ernest Tubb, Mel Tillis and the great Hank Williams, Sr. From 1956 to 1959, he was with the Artist Corporation of America. During the 60's he headed a television show from Pensacola, Florida and played up and down the Gold Coast. Hank has made many recordings and was privileged to have made one with Mother Maybelle Carter.

Hank, who refers to himself as "this old Michigan Hillbilly", is truly an "old school entertainer", who believes when the gigs are few and you're down to peanuts, "You feed the nuts to the squirrels...and then...the squirrels become dinner!"
