Johnny Paycheck recorded this masterpiece in March of 1984. The Sound track was done in one studio, and the vocals were done on world famous Music Row in the studio of Waylon Jennings. The final mix of the album took one month, working twelve hour days under the masterful hand of Producer Miles Sillis. At the time of this Recording Johnny Paycheck was on his way to #1 again. The title of the album, "Survivor", was synonymous with the name of Johnny Paycheck. The Search to find just the right music took three months , engaging the talents of some of the best songwriters, of the time period.
