I was born on October 5th, in Paramount California. As a young child, I developed a love for music. My father Ruben was a self-taught musician who played in a local band. My father would often practice the piano with my younger brother Christopher and I, which later on was an inspiration to my love for music. My mother Patty was a stay at home mom and wife. My mother wanted to ensure that aside from music, that my brother and I had a great education. She taught us many important essentials that later influenced our success in life.

Growing up our family did everything together. Family outings were some happiest times of my childhood. I can remember camping as one of the most memorable times as a child. My family and I would gather around the campfire until the early morning hours singing and dancing. George Strait was a huge inspiration to me as a child, which was introduced to me by my parents. I would often pretend as if I were George Strait singing in front of millions of people. One of my favorite songs was and still is "The Cowboy Rides Away". I can remember my brother Chris and I sitting in front of the television watching Pure Country the movie in which George Strait starred in.

After graduating High School in, I joined the military proudly serving my country and completing Expeditionary Missions Overseas. After the military I attended college, receiving a degree in Computer Technology in 2002. In the fall of 2003 I met my best friend and soul mate Melissa. From the moment that we met, I knew that I had found the woman that I was going to marry and spend the rest of my life with. We were married in September of 2005, and I know each day that passes will be a new and exciting one. I will always promise to do the best I can for Melissa and our son Eryk.

In August 2005 I met two very extraordinary people, Danny and Jacque Miller of Scarecrow Records. Danny who is my vocal trainer and Jacque his wife, have taught me many important aspects of the music industry. I have grown to have a deep respect and friendship towards these people in the short time that I have know them. Without these two wonderful people, I would not be where I am today.

I want to thank everyone who has believed in me, and supported me up to this point. I want everyone to know that although the road is just beginning, it will end with no regrets. To succeed is the only option I will allow myself.
