Karen was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She knew from a very early age that music would play a very big part in her life. At the age of 2½, (according to her Mom), she started playing melodies on the piano. But as she grew, she realized her passion was singing.
She sang in her church choir throughout her life and was in the concert choir in high school. She has sung at festivals, fund raisers, and church functions.
She also loves to sing country and pop music. She's been compared to such artists as, Celine Dion, Trisha Yearwood, and Suzy Bogguss.
Karen is married and has two wonderful children. She is a stay-at-home wife and mother who is always singing in her spare time.
After numerous requests from family and friends, Karen decided to record some of her favorite inspirational songs. All the profits from the sale of this debut CD go directly to her church.
