Fed up with the hype and lack of talent in the commercial music scene, Levi Mullen launched his own record label, Cowboy Capital Records, thumbing his nose at the "record industry". Born a cowboy, he was taught very well to be independent by his father, a self employed rancher/carpenter/steel player.
To quote Levi, "I make records the same way my dad built houses. All he had was a skilsaw, a hammer, and lots of talent. He did what most people say can't be done. Well, he showed me it can be done if you just ignore those people and quietly get to work. That's why you're reading this right now."
