Get Ready For The Road......
From the first note to the final chorus the band Lonesome Road offers audiences an exhilarating music experience. The group brings together a show that combines high energy along with great fun to produce a performance that has attracted fans young and old. The band has come a long way from the Willamette Valley of Oregon and now calls Nashville, Tennessee home. Their self-titled debut album, released in summer of 2004 has been reviewed as refreshing and new and has resulted in good sales of units. From this album their first single "You Won't be Lonely Long" was released to country radio in several markets and has enjoyed a very solid play rotation. The radio audience has helped spur increased play in those markets and bring name recognition to the band. On the heels of their album release Lonesome Road embarked on an 8 week tour spanning the country as the opening act for many of today's country music superstars such as Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Clint Black, Martina McBride and Keith Urban. The band hopes to build on this solid start and looks forward to greater success in the future.
BENSON HOWELL, hails from the small grass roots town of Riddle, nestled in the heart of Southern Oregon. The original founding member of LONESOME ROAD, Benson sings lead and harmony vocals, plays the rhythm guitar and also does much of the song writing for the group.
DAVE LUEHR Dave sings lead and harmony vocals and plays rhythm guitar. He has been a solid country music entertainer for many years around the Salem, Oregon area and beyond. Dave's stage presence and energy make a winning combination for the band.
AVERY ANDERSON Avery plays the fiddle, mandolin and occasional saxophone. He has been playing the fiddle almost his entire life and at the age 12 became the National Fiddle Champion for his age group. Avery has a diverse musical appreciation which influences his playing style.
TIBI BOTOCAN Originally from Romania, Tibi plays the bass guitar. One of the songs Tibi wrote went to #2 on the Romanian Top 10 and European Charts. With experience in rock, pop, and country he has toured throughout Europe and America.
