Louie Setzer, a Premier Bluegrass Vocalist, has been performing TraditionalBluegrass Music for well over 30 years. Louie's unique vocal styling, heavily influenced by first BG generation masters, Jimmy Martin & Mac Wiseman, breaths "New Life" into old tunes that sets him apart from the rest. With his band the Appalachian Mt. Boys, Louie has Fuzzed the gap between Traditional Bluegrass & Country music with a sound all their own. Blending Driving Banjo, Country Fiddle, Monroe style Mandolin and Walking Bass, The Appalachian Mt. Boys sound could can best be described as " Hard Driving Honky Tonk" Fondly remembered for his long running shows at the "Big Tent" in the Poconoes, Louie recorded with Revonah Records and was a primary founder and first President of the Appalachian Fiddle and Bluegrass Assn. AFBA. After having to quit music several years ago due to a family tragedy Louie is back sounding better than ever.
