Orville is a seasoned veteran of the music business. A native Californian, he has entertained fans all over the United States from California to Hawaii, to the famed Printer's Alley in Nashville, TN. Over the years, Orville has honed his craft as a songwriter. With influences like Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Sr. and Merle Haggard, his lyrics are full of rich storylines about life experiences.
Orville has also kept the music in the family with oldest daughter Kim being in great demand as a piano teacher in St. Louis, MO; middle daughter Tamara playing bass in Nashville, TN for Top Country Artists such as Jeff Carson; and youngest daughter Melissa playing classical violin. His grandchildren are getting an early start in the music business as well. "Carnival" is a compilation of songs Orville has written over the past 30 years. The project started out a labor of love, wanting to make a CD to give to family and friends. Then his daughter Tamara called some musician friends of hers (who just happen to be some of Nashville's top session players), to help out. The simple project turned into a great production. With Tamara playing bass with her musician friends, Kim co-writing some of the songs and both of them doing backup vocals along with Tamara's husband Wade producing the CD; Orville kept it in the family and ended up with a CD that could be appreciated by all music lovers, not just his family and friends. Orville and his wife Tutty recently moved to Nashville, TN area to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren. Track List: 1. They Didn't Know 2. Monologue 3. Ol Glory 4. Carnival 5.
