Born In Pennsylvania, Rita Rose started singing at the age of six. After high school, she worked with several groups near her home. She later decided to move her career along by moving to Tennessee, where she appeared five days a week on the popular Cas Walker's Farm and Home Hour. After three years she was asked to to do a show for Datsun Motor Company, which led to her own TV Show "The Rita Rose Show".
