Terrie's deep country roots are prevalent throughout this CD. Although every song is an original, Terrie makes us feel as though we've heard them many times before. Rootstime Radio in Belgium say's "If Patsy Cline and Tammy Wynette were recording today, This is what their music would sound like!" The CD features many songs from one of nashville's finest writers, Charlie Craig. Charlie's songs have been made number one by super star's Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, Lorrie Morgan and a host of others!
This 13 TIME DETROIT MUSIC AWARD WINNER, Terrie Lea, grew up singing with her Daddy. "I would often stand on a chair and sing songs like "Help Me Make It Through The Night" and "Take Me Home Country Roads".
The Mustangs include Ross Gatzke on guitar/harmonies, Bruce Bedford on drums, Janel deVries on mandolin/fiddle/harmonies, Rick Zeldes on bass, Susie Woodman on keys and Al Carmichael on guitar/dobro and steel. The collaboration of this group as a band is remarkable, each member seems to have a bit of old school country in their veins. Matched with Terrie's vocals this CD is a perfect fit and makes for great listening.
