i joyce isabel snyder, as the writer of both words and music of all songs on the album, am releasing my first "country music" c.d.in the hopes that my songs will be heard and sung by other people in the world, and, that it will bring them some of the enjoyment, which i have experienced all through my life from writing these songs.
i am not an exclusive "country" songwriter. i write many different kinds of songs: "pop, rock, and other novelty, story, love ballads, city and state songs, but my "texas" background, has influenced my writing to a large extent, so my "country" songs, outnumber any other group of my compositions.
i have been sucessful, recently, in obtaining ten recordings "mostly country songs" by several "indie" artists and have many, other songs, under current "music publishing contracts" by other publishers, who believe my songs have "major potential".
this album is my way of saying "hello" to all of you music lovers out there. i won't say goodbye just yet, because-i'll be back to see you with another album of: "the songs of joyce snyder" hopefully, in the near future, i will be releasing my second album which will be mostly pop songs.
